Songs For Syria Cover iTunes Hi Res

Hey good people out in web land. I am doing a project with the displacement of Refugees in Syria.

“Songs For Syria is a project I started working on in mid-2013. As the war in Syria unfolded and time passed
and it became apparent the powers of the world were taking a flaccid approach to what has become the worst
refugee crisis since World War II. Six million people are homeless and displaced – it’s hard to even comprehend
that number – such a massive movement of desperate people.

I felt compelled to do something, so I asked the biggest artists I had worked with to donate a song to help
create an album to financially assist the Red Cross in Syria. When no one got back to me I decided to go it
alone, with a little help from my friends!”

I have set up an account with The Red Cross and 100% of the proceeds of Songs For Syria are being forwarded to them. Thank you for your support.

Well, if you have not heard yet, I am out on the road touring Australia in support of my latest single “Remember To Breathe”.  We kicked off at the Deni Blues Festival on the main stage right before Michael Franti.  What a treat it was to see Dr John play on that same stage after Michael.  Please check out the tour section on my website  for the latest tour dates.

New Shows Announced for Sydney – see Tours Section

Friends, The Pilgrim was released via MGM distribution on 7 June 2013 and it peaked at #1 on the iTunes blues charts in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.  I would like to personally thank everyone who has purchased the album and has come out to the live shows I have done to support the album release.  It was great working with Mark Opitz, who produced the album and to Colin Wynne who engineered The Pilgrim, both who made it an easy process to record.
